Some really sick performances this week by players and a couple games where it was impossible to recognize just one thing that happened.
Greg Wade, 9th year WR, Hawaii, 12 receptions, 130 yards in a 24-13 loss to Canton
James Nichol, 3rd year SS, Mt. Washington, 13 tackles in 26-6 loss to Columbus City
Edwin Merrill, 6th year WR, Perth, 184 receiving yards & 2 TD’s in 38-24 win over Wellsville
Charles Burgess, 1st year DT, and Daniel Banks, 4th year DE, Atlantic City, record 3 sacks each in 8-3 win over Arkansas
Duncan Cisco, 10th year RB, Boise, 141 all-purpose yards & a TD in 36-10 win over Santa Fe
Earl Grim “Reaper,” 2nd year WR/RB, Charleston, 296 all-purpose yards & 2 TD’s in 64-7 win over Ft. Drum.
Jerry Peterson, 1st year WR, Parlor City, 257 receiving yards & 4 TD’s in 73-9 win over San Diego.
Jonathan Embree, 9th year QB, Salem, 458 passing yards, 4 TD’s in 28-16 win over Bennington (with added props for Jose McCauley, 2nd year RB, 11 receptions, 264 all-purpose yards & 2 TD’s for the Witches).
Anthony Dunn, 9th year RB/WR, Tallahassee, 206 all-purpose yards & 3 TD’s in a 28-24 win over Toronto
Bruce “Whatta” Rush, 5th year CB, Coos Bay, 8 tackles and 2 interceptions in 38-16 win over Rancho Cucamonga
David “Silly” Puddy, 8th year QB, Glendora, 460 passing yards and 7 TD’s (with 0 INT’s) in 72-0 win over Brooklyn
Kenneth Cobbs, 3rd year CB, New Jersey, game-clinching INT with 1:18 remaining to secure a 20-18 win over Tacoma. (Of note -- the two teams combined for 8 INT’s this game)
