Geechee 34, Coyotes 12…Edward Jackson threw for 360 yards and 4 TD’s to help Charleston roll past Mt. Washington. Terry Fields with a pair of scoring receptions for the Geechee.
Phantoms 24, Burn 3…Tony Strait and Jackie Schaffer hooked up for a pair of touchdown passes as Parlor City bounced back from its first loss of the year, 24-3 over the Burn. Schaffer finished with 128 yards of offense in the contest.

Stampede 35, Tennessee 17…A lightning bolt, a dagger and 7 field goals from William Tice carried St. Louis to a win. Trailing 10-9, Tony Paris hauled in a 55-yard touchdown pass from James Palmer on the final play of the first half. The connection came following a missed field goal attempt by Tennessee. In the third quarter, after Tennessee drew within 19-17, Jerry Bradshaw returned the kickoff 100 yards for a score. Tice added 3 of his 7 kicks down the stretch as Tennessee never scored again, despite 355 yards from QB Jerry Belk.
Event 28, Snappers 10…A pair of fourth quarter Steven Jimenez TD passes helped Maine pull away from a game Natchitoches squad in Week 7. Jimenez finished with 316 yards throwing. The Snappers got 103 rushing yards from Louis Wilson.
Crush 41, Bandits 3…the lone unbeaten in the EFL had no intention of losing as they pounded out 603 yards of offense to win in a rout. Keith Scott threw for 450 yards and 4 TD’s for the Crush. Robert Halcomb pulled in 9 passes for 158 yards and two scores.
Wild 33, Assassins 7…Milwaukee did not play the role of happy hosts as they pummeled Columbus City. The Wild scored TD’s on three consecutive possessions in the first half to quickly take control and intercepted Assassin QB Michael Hardnett twice in the second half to make sure they never relinquished it. Rocky Barnes ran for 120 yards and a TD for the Wild, who also got a pair of David Frazier TD receptions.
Riptide 20, Crusaders 16…Possessions were at a premium as the Riptide defeated in-state rival California by four points. Both teams had just nine offensive possessions in the contest. Robert Burkett threw for 234 yards and 2 TD’s for San Diego, which carried a 20-10 lead into the fourth quarter. A 57-yard field goal with 4 minutes to play made life interesting for Crusader fans, but their final chance with the football ended prematurely on downs without crossing the midfield stripe.

Big plays were the order of the night as Andrew Canup returned an interception for 20 yards and a TD for the Thunder. Tacoma also got TD passes of 74, 75 and 72 yards from QB Erick Cole. Cole finished with 357 yards and hit on 18 of his 20 passing attempts.

Puddy was good for 444 passing yards and 3 TDs, two of which went to Claypoole. Claypoole finished with 208 receiving yards. Joseph Overhold added 11 yards and the other TD reception.
Wallabies 27, Bombers 14…Perth jumped out to a 27-0 lead in the first half, which turned out to be a good thing as the Wallabies did jack-nothing on offense in the second half. Everything was humming until the Bombers’ Mike Mendoza returned an interception 22 yards for a score just before the half. The pick-six countered one by Perth’s Marty Davis, which also covered 22 yards and opened the scoring in the game.

Spartans 37, Twisters 9…Toronto had a 474-123 yardage advantage and also returned an interception for a touchdown to power past Arkansas. Willie Coyne had 407 yards passing for the Spartans, who saw both Adam Bennett and Russell Vera top the century mark for receiving yards as a result. Roger Tabares was responsible for the 30-yard pick six for Toronto’s D.
Kings 24, Witches 9…Lyon scored 14 points off turnovers to make the Witches pay in a sloppy contest that saw a total of seven miscues. George Fletcher ran of a pair of scores for Lyon, who also got 121 rushing yards and a TD from Donald Dubois.
