I have always diversified my play and formation selection, but in my experience with MFN you cant select all 40 plays and even out the formations and get optimum performance out of your offense. Having 30 out of 40 selected is probably a fair range, with sliders keeping playcalling pretty spread out........ Maybe a play dont get called more than 6 to 8 times. Even if you have a play called 10 or more times, I believe the code will pull the overuse on you so it works out.... most times.
So if Grandpa is not weighing in here, and its all good because we all understand real life schedules are more important, then I propose the new and simplified rules here.
1. Forget needing to have all 40 and 30 plays selected. I believe this lowers the optimal performance of your offense/defense. Maybe for Offense have at least 30, and defense have at lease 20 selected and put your formations sliders however you want. I really think if you make a mistake and have a play called too many times, it will backfire on you.
2. I really like the No WR at the TE positions to get the mismatches, but I dont mind the WR switching to the RB position, or vice versa, as long as we actually switch their positions to the pertaining position. Some recievers **** at being a reciever, but might still have high ball carry and anti fumble abilities so that is a good conversion from WR to RB. Certain situations would be understandable.
What if you wanted to take a WR and train him at the TE position? Well spend a year or two, training camp, and season, locking their actual position in it.
Other than that, there is really not much more we can do until there is time to improve the play diversity, and or, workability via code and stuff.
What do yall think?
