Garrok. I believe we just had a really good first half that kinda buzz sawed it. Also you were driving all the way down the field on an important possession for your team....just to get picked off at the goal line by Rodriguez. We had a bit of luck that left you stagnant until it was too late.

GG Phantoms, seems like you’re kryptonite for our squad.

And I shall need it. If there is anyone that I would wish not to face in the Elite Bowl, it would be people like Garrok, Grandpa, and Cooter.

And vice versa, lol. The Elite FL has really turned into a terrific MFN league. Phaldun is a great example of the an owner who has "upped the bar" since becoming a part of the league. Took over the Phantoms four seasons ago and reversed them from a 1 win season to 13 wins! and then two straight LCs and now going for a 3 peat. I always highly recommend that you can learn a lot from success, take the time to review the transactions and draft picks that were made (roster is half the game). Look at the gameplan, especially when you scout a top level team, what plays are they running the most, what their play averages are, etc. So, time for the "Rematch", and I will be surprised if it is anything like the last LC, where the Dragons never came out of their lair, and the Phantoms were about as easy to tackle as ghosts, lol. And we have the best "press coverage", game reviews in MFN, thanks again to Red, look at the number of views on our Headline Sports. As a result, any opening that occurs for a new owner is going to be filled pretty quickly. Cheers!!

D-Y-NASTY!!

Parlor City punctuated Elite Bowl 13 with an exclamation point, burying Glendora beneath an onslaught of 30 fourth-quarter points to wrap up their third consecutive championship with a 50-7 rout over the Dragons.

Edward Huff ran for 107 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Leroy Rivera added 157 yards as the Phantoms raced for 319 yards on the ground and 580 overall yards in the contest.

William Frazier ran for a 5-yard score after Glendora ended the Phantoms’ first possession with an interception. After that, it was pretty much all Parlor City.

The Phantoms knotted the contest with a 12-yard TD pass from Tony Strait to Joseph Lee. They grabbed the lead for good on a 3-yard Huff run with just over 5 minutes to go in the half and were up 17-7 at intermission. The Phantoms added another field goal in the third quarter to go up 20-7. And then the avalanche started to rumble.

Strait hit Steve Phillips with a touchdown pass less than 3 minutes into the fourth quarter. He’d find Joseph Lee less than 2 minutes later, followed by a 6-yard Huff run and then a Strait-to-Jackie Schaffer 19-yard touchdown pass. That’s 27 points in less than 3 minutes. Manuel Williams added a 52-yard kick to the gut just before the 2-minute warning to wrap up the scoring.

Parlor City finishes the year 17-2. They have outscored the opposition 142-53 in their three title game appearances.

Congrats Phal, Phantoms, obviously we dont match up well, lol. Am going to need to upgrade the Dline in the off season to help stop the run. Your defense did real well also, for a LB with only 70 speed, Gosney was all over the place.

Hey wait a minute Grandpa, I think we match up fine. ;) I wanted to thank everyone for showing me love on here, especially after winning the title a third time. This year was really tough for my Offensive Line. The reason for this is because at least half or more of my starters was hurt all year. The only time during this whole season my starting O-Line was all able to start a game together was right before the Elite Bowl game. I really think that made a huge difference for my offense because everyone and their grandma was expecting me to pass very frequently.
