Doesnt look like it after pre-season and first game coming up, I have the Witches as the favorite at this point. Good luck to all, hope your pre-seasons were productive. cheers

I wasn't impressed by my team. ;)

Good game, Spartans! That last drive was heartbreaking.

GG Twisters. Too many turnovers & too many blitzes. I'll fix the latter before we meet again.

Happy Holidays everyone.

Also, thank you Event for the smack down. Still 2 maybe 3 years away with this team...

Great defensive slugfest Beefy/Wallabees, good example of what is happening more with 4.4, where there are many more games with both teams scoring fewer than 14. Special teams & kickers have become more important relative to game outcomes.

Good game, Witches. Solid performances on both teams. It was which team had the most big plays. Good luck the rest of the way.

Well, 3 games into the season and 4.4 has definitely had an impact on the "status quo" for the EFL. There are several teams that have moved up into contention for their respective divisions that were previously dominated by repeat winners. I'm not a big fan of 4.4, but I like that it has created more competition and is a challenge to remain successful in.

Great game Bandits/Coco! Several frustrating moments on offense and penalties, but we were able to prevail in that one. The Bandits are one of the teams that have adapted to 4.4 really well, congrats.

GG Crush, wasn't sure how this game would turn out with the depth chart changes I made. My QB Stallings had an ankle barely above 50% healthy so I started rookie QB David Puddy.

The other change had a couple reasons behind it. Despite winning my first 2 games, I wasn't happy with my offensive performance as a whole. 2nd year RB John Germaine is averaging 1.6 less YPC than last year and my #1 WR Duncan Meyer was hardly getting any targets, so I put Meyer in as my #1 RB and moved Germaine to #2. It was this, or change my offense to try to get more downfield targets. Some teams have had success going downfield in 4.4 but I have not. My success has been games like this, 40-50 passes, completing 80-90% complimented by a solid running game, basically grinding it out. Eventually I'd like to find time to study the teams who can actually go downfield.
