Three outta 4 ain't bad!

Um...... this is really unfair as **** for my team in the Elite League. Somehow both of my first round picks as well as my third all flopped. The first three picks of mine all flopped and flopped down huge. It's like I really got three 4th round picks instead of the two round one picks. I think I got totally ripped off.

Preach on, Brother Phaldun. In this one respect, the draft outcomes at MFN exactly mirror the NFL drafts. You just never ever know, and when you think you do.....ppphhhffftttttt....**it happens!

I think I spend more worry over not if a draftee is gonna improve or hold steady, but am like "oh please please Lord Baby Jesus don't let this draft pick crash and burn"! Laffs.

I had a first round RB in another league drop 22 points after camp the other day. Live by volatility, die by volatility.

You guys are correct. I dont want to wine like a baby about it because I ended up with Andy Dalton instead of Tom Brady. Even my third rounder... a RG had almost maxed run and pass block.....after training camp both ranked down to well below half way. I am seriously thinking about cutting his *** before the season and eating a 4 million chunk of dead cap for next year.

I worked really hard trying to rebuild the Phantoms, but didnt do as well as I had hoped. Grandpa did a great job during FA period.... out bid me on two diamond in the ruff players ;)

Just have to keep grinding. No matter how good my teams do, I'm always looking to improve my roster. Maybe the busted players can still be useful. I'll be keeping that -22 RB because he still has 90 speed, and that's worth something. I have had DB's lose most of their M2M coverage, yet still get interceptions.

I almost cut this guy after his bad camp, but didn't want to eat the contract. 5 games into year 3 and he has 13 INT.

All four of my picks dropped by 5. Bummer.

Perhaps it works a way like 75% of high vol rookies drop. I am understanding that the best thing to look for would be high potential low vol. Is this correct?

No the players that boom or bust is decided when the player is generated. The vol number ranges from -100 to +100 but before training camp the +/- is obscured.

My OL boomed nicely, but all my skill players flopped. That's life :-(

Our training camp was a snoozer! The biggest mover was 12/4! The biggest loser went 7/-7.

Just not much there. And I was so hopeful. :|
