The Atlantic City Cougars announce that #34 Paul Benson's number will be retired at a ceremony during the first home game of the regular season. The team's all time leading rusher gained 12,586 yards on the ground during his illustrious career. (That would be 11th all time in the NFL, just in front of a couple guys named Derrick Henry and James Brown. Not sure where he would rank in EFL history. I have never seen a player in this game (QB in this case) retire at age 26! Signed two QB at the end of the season to give me options for backup QB this season, and one of them retired! I know anything can happen in real life, but never seen that here.
