I look forward to the day when full play selection, max use of 5X per game, is either mandatory or a league option. I have PM'd JDB about it, told him that the new play block control is not going to work, this is his current standing........

Originally there was a similar restriction where you had to have a full play selection and the engine limited the number of times you could call a play, but there was a near revolt about that back then as well because there are some simple plays (i.e. basic defenses) that folks actually do want to be able to use for a large percentage of plays. So it will take some thought to find the best balance.
Until then, its play it the way you feel is competitive and fair to the others in the league. You may have to adjust your gameplan based on what you see in scouting. Example, your opponent uses 4 or 5 defenses total, all with sub 3 yard averages, then you should do the same to level the playing field, or not, your choice. No more debates, complaints, and confusion, not worth the hassle. lets have a good season, cheers! GdB
