That is the kind of play selection and use diversity we are looking for throughout the league, well done and thank you to those taking the time and effort to post their results.

Not all team owners in this league are following the diversity rules. I have scouted a few team this season who only use around 17 offensive plays a game. So how are we to get back into playoff ship shape form if we use the diversity rules, and others dont?

I'm actually quite happy with the diversity of the plays.
In the 9 games so far, 41 plays have been selected offensively (I replaced one play (long pass) because it was unsuccessful). 1 offensive play (outside run) was selected an average of 5 times per game.
Defensively, 30 of 30 plays have been selected so far. The most used play appears an average of 4.7 times per game.
Next season I will adjust the sliders a little and see whether the distribution will be even better, e.g. less used plays more and heavily used plays a little less. However, some "overuses" are also caused by the AI ​​as an automatic reaction to the opponent's gameplay.

Something is broken right now. Even the statistics of my last 10 games show only 25 offensive and 20 defensive plays ever selected. I am sure that I always had 40 offensive and 30 defensive plays activated every game so far.

Edit: I've found the failure. I must have accidently substituted my HC with an other HC with a different playbook.

When you see or scout a team that is only using 17 offensive plays, let them know that they are not in compliance. So far, I havnt scouted a team that is doing so. We will continue to use the full play selection and diversity as long as Im admin. If you want to learn how to play with it and consistently win, I would highly recommend you pay close attention to amalric when you play and scout him along with reviewing his roster. Add, the teams that are not in compliance, are also not in contention for the LC,, if that is the most important factor to enjoying the game. If there are more than 1/2 of the league that would prefer not to have full play selection & diversity, I will be more than happy to hand the admin for this league over to somebody else. I really hope that the game will be changed and have the coaches & AI handle it and reduce the imbalance and level the playing field. Where a full playbook is selected and the offense and defense secondary/LBs are set by the HC & DC's tendencies and styles. And instead of rules, you have simple coach settings, like aggressive for 4th down & field position.

GG amalric/Warriors, you really have the game down now, but the TO's were also a big difference in our game. We may get to do it again this season, hope so.
