Well, as Cooter predicted, the post in the forum and pms to owners did not work. I guess there are owners that do not check their messages or check the forum now and then. So, what will happen now is that I will send the two teams a PM requesting they trade the two players in question to the Buffs. I will give them to the next sim, which is the Week 8 game, and if they do not get it done, they will be up for removal. Once removed, if that does get their attention, they can have their teams back by complying with the request.

OK, so O Taco/Snappers will be cutting Anderson, so please do not put a waiver claim on him, thanks.

Aaaccckkk! That really sucks. The whole mess just kinda frosts the giblets. Laffs. I mean, I feel bad for Airborne and the Buffalo. Just a really tuff way to learn from an unfortunate series of choices. And even included in all that, is that he resides in the same conference and same division as myself. That doesn't help much in terms of competition or sportsmanship in that Airborne will face an uphill battle and continual struggle to get the franchise back on an even keel.

And yet, there is a silver lining in all of it. Airborne now pretty much have the opportunity for a TOTAL REBUILD. I know, I know. It appears daunting. An insurmountable task. But seriously, with time and effort and patience and a little luck sprinkled in, the table is set. I myself truly enjoy that part of MFN. I mean, the game Sims are good,luv the stats, and the learning process, etc. But the "Team Building ", that is the hook for me. I know I have only had a few teams in my time here at MFN, but honestly, looking back, those teams were mostly stinkers when I took them over,including this MIL squad. Some of you veteran guys, I bet you realized yourself after those first few seasons when ya'll started here too on some level. So really, Airborne may have accidentally got into the circumstances, but the chance to really "climb the mountain " is there. I would love to see him tackle it and succeed in his efforts! (Well, or at least get a wild card spot in seasons to come right behind the division and conference champs MIL,that is)

However, worrisome also to a degree, I don't wanna begrudge the GMs that made the waiver claims. Ok, so maybe they don't visit the forums daily. Maybe they didn't respond to PMs. And they are only doing what they feel is best to better their teams. There wasn't any rules broken by Gridironfan or OffensiveTaco by them making choices in the directions of the future of their teams. I don't wanna see anyone be blackballed or suffer under blackmail (blackmail...such an ugly disparaging term; I so much prefer extortion, it is kinder,gentler,prettier and just rolls of the toungue,LOL) for just "playing the game". I understand and G-Dad is the L.A. and all, and it is really a stinky pile of poo and all. But I don't wanna see anyone wind up like Luca Brasi and wind up "sleeping with the fishes" and be whacked from the league over it all.
So,just my two cents. It's all good. And hey, don't forget the cannoli !!!

Dont worry fellas, we will get this fixed, OT/Snappers has cut Anderson and Gridiron/Rocks should be also. Then, I will post another thread with the heading Do Not Put Waiver Claim on Castillo & Anderson. Those two players will be real well known by the time we are done with this, lol. cheers

BTW, this is one of the examples of benefits & advantages in our league that I relate to an owner that Im recruiting to the league, its one of the things that make playing in a league like this one much more enjoyable and fair than a standard/public league with jdb admin. One of the things Ive learned is to fill those open teams as quickly as possible, so the AI manager does not screw up their rosters.

Thank you all, we got it done. It will be the first & last time the league will be requested to do so. If someone makes a mistake, and the AI steps in and screws up their roster, that's a part of the game. At least now there will be more awareness with the sticky thread and I will copy new owners to make as sure as possible that they check their salary caps and understand how it works when you add players. cheers
