Here's my summary of last season (regular plus play offs)
In Offense I used 40 out of 40 selected plays:
- average high for a single play was 3.7 times per game, average low 0.9 times per game
- Outside Run 5 plays listed. average use 14.5 times per game
- Inside Run 7 plays listed, average use 16.8 times per game
- Short Pass 17 plays listed, average use 22.1times per game
- Medium Pass 11 plays listed, average use 17.6 times per game
- Long Passes omitted because of ineffectiveness
Slider Setting: OR 18, IR 22, SP 30, MP 30
In Defence all 30 selected plays were used.
- average high for a single play was 4 times per game, low 0.4 per game
- Secondary average use per game: 1-DM 1.6; 2-DM 3.6; 3-DZ 0.9; 4-DZ 0.4; CB 1.6; SB 2.6; 2-DZ 1.7, Man 2.3; 3-DM 0.9, 4-DM 1,1
- Linebackers average use per game: Zone 0.9; Blitz 1 1.9; Blitz 2 1.9; Blitz 2+ 3.1; Man 2.1; ZoneIn 3
I adjusted the personnel sliders with the paradox effect that the lowest setting brought the highest average use per game and the highest setting brought a low average. I recognized that in Offense and Defense.
Conclusion: You may adjust your settings to use all your personally listed and selected plays for a wide spread diversity but for the amount of usage of a single play or formation the slider setting has only low effect. The greatest influence seems ro be your AI-HC and the play selection of your opponent maybe additional the scouting.
