Great LC game! 18-12 final score, with 3-2 tight defensive 2nd half. Congrats Blood/Bombers and pc/Americans on a CC season and strong performance in the final.
So, on to the 2060 season. Ive delayed the end of season to give more time for voting on the dead cap, which will affect the Early FA bidding. That is why there is a dead cap item in the team finance management. Otherwise you can bid on FAs or contract with full bonus with less concern about salary cap that real life teams deal with. Vote the way you want to have it, Im fine either way.
Would like to see at least 2 human owned teams in the Landry Division. Dont like seeing a division completely empty. PM me if you would like to change teams, you can also take your team name, colors, etc with you if preferred.
Please help recruit, which I will be doing as much as possible. Would like to add at least 4 new owners before the start of next season. Its important to get new owners in before Early FA, The Elite is the only league in MFN with the play diversity rule which opens up the game a little more than what you see in the other leagues other than Roster Only, where the games are like watching paint dry. The Elite provides a different game and challenge, so please pass that on to anyone already playing in other leagues to encourage them to join us.
The receiver pictured below was the oldest player in semi-pro football at 68. Mike Lynch. Not only did he play at that age, but he caught a TD in the championship game for the Southwest Florida Gladiators. We had a guy like him on my SP team in the late 70s and he played both ways on the line! We called him "The Swede". He was tall, slender for OL/DL, never spoke much, and always had a slight smile on his face. Just one of many amazing characters who play semi-pro.
