Since I seem to be in the company of an extremely confident owner in my division, I figured we should ramp it up and have a little fun with it. So here I am officially calling out the Crusaders and labeling it a rivalry.
Here is a little history on the matches between these two squads: -Red Rocks have a 7-3 advantage over the last 5 seasons -In the 5 seasons prior to that, the Crusaders crushed Coos Bay 8-2. -New Jersey (California) leads the overall series 21-12, including a victory in the lone postseason meeting (46-0 in 2026)
And the outlook for both teams heading into 2035... -Coos Bay has won 5 consecutive division titles and 6 out of the last 7. However, they have split against New Jersey in the last 2 seasons. They are led by the league's best rushing attack and an elite offensive line. Their defense is underrated, but even more effective than the offense. The Red Rocks hope to finally translate their success into conference and league championships. -New Jersey has undergone a rebuild under new management. After a relocation from California and a slow decline stemming from an aging roster, their new front office has made some big promises. With a bevy of trades, the Crusaders drafted 9 players in the first 2 rounds of the 2035 Draft. Can these youngsters restore this franchise to its former glory?
History shows the Crusaders are the more tradition rich team and history will be restored. I have laid out my promise of a contender in 3-5 years or I will leave my post. Burn the boats, no turning back
Player Future Ratings that are possible 77 or better
Crusaders 28 Red Rocks 23
I have built it, now time to play

This is hilarious. With the player weights that most owners play with, here are the numbers of players at 77 or above (minus kickers and punters):
Crusaders: 18
Red Rocks: 30
But you can keep living in your fantasy world.

Not to mention I also traded away 5 players in the off-season that would have qualified at 77 or above. And no players higher than 75 were received in return. Just draft picks to keep stocking our talent pool.

Television executives are thrilled that we have until Week 12 for this rivalry to percolate before the two of you meet for the first time...

Well, not much to say about the first meeting other than the Red Rock's backup QB ended up with a 140 QBR.

I have 4 years left to turn it around or I will be fired.
