i must shed some salary before the draft. i want to trade for players that i can cut after i get them so i don't have a ton of dead cap

Youve got 170mil in dead cap!
And your draft picks are set to cost you more than your avail roster space.
You may end up with most of your team cut & have to pickup street free agents this year to clear the dead cap and start fresh next season.

I'd say dump all your picks for next year picks (so they dont end up being cut to clear cap space) and try to offload that yr 4 OT since he'll get you close to 7mil in cap space. And cut that LB making like 4 mil with a rating in the 30s.

That would be my strategy anyway.

I'm not exactly sure how you are going to be able to fix this. It is not possible for you to get under the cap because your dead cap is higher than the salary cap. This means that you are paying more than the salary cap to people who are not even on your roster.

Yikes...... You might need to do what Austin.... Big Pun.... is doing in League CUST 35. With that.... you need to cut.....and look for bad news bears in free agency and pray your draft picks boom seriously. Dont nessicerily cut all your best overall players....Wait till every week and midweek to see how your numbers are calculated. Maybe Grandpa and company will hook you up with a fair fix. This would be understandable. Wait till you have massive surplus in cap a year or two.... and then you can attack the best FAs.......

But then you might underbid and Crazy Razor might steal the best CB of the FA pool right from under your nose! Then you will be in a Shitty football mood!

I think there is scope here for GrandadB to have the cap reset by a simple mail to JDB ?

I've never managed a league, so not sure if this is the case...but seems just.

Drop a mail to GrandadB/League Admin and ask for feasibility of cap forgiveness to forward to JDB.
