Good game, Twisters. We shot ourselves in the foot during that game! Too many penalties at crucial moments and too many big plays allowed on defense. We just couldn't get back into it. Good luck!

GG pickle! We kinda squeeked out a defense slugfest there. And piled on the injuries in the process.

Lesson learned. Don’t let Fields get behind your defense when playing the Geechee. 410 yards and 6 TDs. *sigh*

Sorry buddy...this was my first game at the helm so was unsure how my gameplay style might adapt to a very good team that ray built.
I don't think anyone expected that type of performance from Fields....I'll have to speak to him :)
Actually, I’m not so sure we could have kept him in front of us. Compared to him all my guys are running knee deep in cold molasses.
I hope I don't come across as "silly" in saying this, but he was a coin flip away from not starting the position he did (WR2), I was going to put him as WR3 (slot). I reviewed the scoring plays, and some came from the FL Hitch, but there were other big plays he made from different fmts and pass plays also.
Suffice to say...he will be starting WR2 for a LONG LONG time lol
That is always tough when a squad gets taken over mid season and their gameplanning switches. You don't know exactly what to try and scout against and it leaves your defense pretty vulnerable. (Aka pants down around their ankles).

I think a lot of it came down to speed. My DBs have decent speed, but not in the 90s like this receiver. I hoped to keep it somewhat close, but when the opening play went 74 yards for the score I knew I was I for it. :)
