If I'm seeing the player history right, coachgdub or Griffith converted this stud DL to an OL before cutting him. The former first-rounder went undetected as a FA until setherick wisely spotted the ruse.

It looks like it would have been coachgdub because it occurred right when he was drafted.

There are more questions to be asked:

1) Why on earth was the position change made in the first place? My assumption is to get him to a certain weight.

2) Why was he cut? I'm assuming Griffith didn't realize this terrible OL is actually a stud DL.

and

3) Why weren't the people looking for d-line checking the "Include Players Not In This Position Group" box?
