That tank might be blown up b4 the season is half over. I better get a reply soon either in this thread or by PM.
Well I got just as bad, or worse, buster tank of a QB from the draft a season ago in the Paydirt league. It was a first round pick and I don't think any first round pick should bust that bad.

The QB position is the one most dependent on other positions and factors, play selection, the receiving group (RB, WR, FB, TE). Ive seen and have had 90+ rated QBs put up 60 rater #'s and vice versa. I keep having to learn my lesson about not trading the farm for a high rated QB, the temptation comes up now and then.

Well it is very difficult to secure a reliable QB in this MFN draft system........unless you blow a season and get #1-3rd pick. Well, I just can never do that. The last few seasons in this Elite league, I didn't make the playoffs, but had around 10 or so wins. So what does that do? Well, not only did I not make the playoffs, but my draft pick number is later than half of the 32. So that is the reason why sometimes it is easier to take ownership of a scrub team that had almost 0 wins the previous season. You have a high draft pick... and if the the salary cap isnt all busted up... and there is room... you can add FA as well to quickly turn around the team. Ok after I won those 3 Elite Bowls in a row with the Phantoms, as we go through more seasons.... it becomes so difficult to aquire high rated players if your team keeps winning most of their games. Another fact for me is that I am horrible in the offseason. Sometimes I miss important draft picks and the AI picks up some srub for me instead.
Can understand your frustration Phaldun, but the good news is that if you dont have a top 10 spot in the draft, you can still get a QB that will boom, there are QBs that were picked in the 6th round that boomed to to elite level.
Current leader in QBR with more than 250 attempts, Alexander, was a 5.5 pick. Next best, Bergeron, was a 3.4 pick. Next is Plummer, a 4.4 pick. Those are the 3 QBs with 100+ QBR so far this season, and none were a 1st or 2nd round pick.

Yup........Check this out. My Cincinnati Bengals in the Paydirt league. I picked up that CB... you all know the ones........the ones with the max speed in the 90s... Acceleration around 88.... great int and Dis..................Oh.. but that Volatility............it was a 98. Hmmmm..... most would stay away from this pick in the first round.... My Bengals had a first round pick when first round was about 65% through. Well sometimes it is worth it to take a chance on those High Vol........cause that frackin beast boomed. #22 Joseph Hudson Rookie CB for the Bengals in the Paydirt.
