What about contracts and cap ?
Actually it's too easy to keep players and sign them for free, I have a QB that have good ratings, that have many throws, great stats, goes in playoff every year, last season I just signed him for less than 3 millions/year.
In an other league, a better QB with better ratings and better career, signed for less than 7 millions/year, both should have asked for almost 20 millions/year.
Same for others positions, I have a top young WR that has been signed for only 6 millions/year, he should have asked ~15 millions/year...
I think the problem is that in the game, players only want a high bonus and don't care if it's for 1 year or 6 years, they should ask for a minimum salary and/or bonus per year, they see no difference between 10 millions $ in 1 year, and 1 million$/year for 10 years.
And the problem with that is when a team is full of top players, this team will always win until they are retiring and so many other owner prefer to leave the league because it's a waste of time to compete here as there is not really competitions. An other thing is that it often happens that there is nobody good to sign in free agency because every good players has been signed for a cheap contract, and we never feel the pressure of the salary cap.
In MFN-85, the draft is over, I have 58 players, and still a 16 millions $ cap room, with 3.6 millions dead money...
