I am excited to announce today the official release of the Game Engine version 0.4.3! This feature focuses primarily on the passing game, specifically interactions between receivers and their coverage. You will notice now that attributes for quarterbacks, receivers, and defenders all come into play more significantly than before. Some highlights in this update:
* DBs play tighter coverage and have more impact in the passing game
* WRs now will stutter step to lose their coverage
* Bump and run coverage has been improved where the DB will now run with the WR and interrupt the pattern
* QB will throw the ball more quickly
* QBs now play more to their attributes
* The fatigue penalty for QBs has been removed
* QBs now come in cold off the bench, reducing the effectiveness of 'QB by committee'
* Blitzes are now more feast or famine
* Bug fixes in the way the offensive line pulls on some running plays
* Bug fixes with the defensive play calling matrix
All leagues will roll into the new engine after they execute their next End of Season stage, starting tonight.
