We gotta play them one more time. When I studied the Bulldogs, anyone can see that they have a very solid defense and an ample offense with a good running back and a few good receivers. If you have too many turnovers against them, well your in trouble.

Solid Defensive performance by ricmoney and his mighty Lyon Kings. Coach was talking to Harry Knopp all week before the game:

" Ok Harry, this team has a very fine secondary..... so whatever you do..... do not keep throwing over the middle. They like to float their linebackers in a middle zone a lot so it will be difficult to force throws there. "

Pre-game speech from coach:

"Ok Harry you got this. Your one of the best QBs this season so far, but this is no time to get hot headed. Try to avoid throwing to our TEs, focus on the X, Z, and the slot routes on the seams and outside."

Halfway through the 4th quarter as the Phantoms head coach slams his head set into the turf:

Broadcast announcer - "Wow! The rookie sensation Harry Knopp has thrown his 6th interception of the game and now the Lyon Kings can seal this one. The home crowd is loving this!"

"That they are Chris. Maybe his coach should tell him to stop slinging the ball wildly about like some drunk old western gunslinger. I wonder how it feels, as a QB, to lead the league in TD passes and Interceptions."

"Well said Jim. Knopp's accuracy is horrible and every time he drops back to pass, he only seems to see half of the field. This rookie still has much to learn".

Good game crm63. There went my very faint chance at the playoffs. Oh well, I'll have to work a little harder in the offseason.

Well, this game has officially drawn my ire. Dominate the game only to lose in the 4th quarter because of turnovers! Why am I surprised?! This is the norm now!

Good game, Assassins! I'm glad we were able to hold on to this one. My defense played pretty well. Except on fourth down! 3 for 3 on fourth down for your offense! I could not believe that. Good luck the rest of the season.

That was a good game, Event. It certainly has turned into a good divisional rivalry. Always a good thing.

Whack week in the Elite, Dragons lose to the Ai managed Bombers! and like several posted, wth was my QB doin? lol. Well, sure makes it interesting and challenging. Forward the light brigade! cheers all, gdb

add ... that was a great post Phaldun, always appreciate stuff like that in the season thread. And in 4.5, I cringe every time my QB drops back looking exclusively to the right side and the CB1. I feel a lot better when he swings his FOV to the leftside! lol.

Disagree on wack week because it allowed Harry Knopp to bounce back from that dreadful performance at the Lyon Kings house. Furthermore, my post was not a complaint. I was actually being honest because his accuracy and field of vision is very lack luster. It made sense to me because Lyon Kings secondary even had a few picks on the outside.

I feel that if we complain every week that things don't go our way, then we will have you programmers trying to alter and tweak the code every other week... and that destroys the immersive realistic feeling of the simulation.

I try to think about it like this.......
This simulation runs on math, just like the universe, and just like the universe, it's not perfect. Don't worry tho, because if the universe was perfect than life would not exist, and we wouldn't be here enjoying life, and fictional football leagues. ;)
