That was a tough one mwd/Cobras, will chalk that one up to having the bye, playing at home, and favorable sim/rolls. Quite a turnaround from our last game in the reg season. Congrats on another very good season, am sure the Cobras will be back in the hunt next season.

GG Cooter/Wild, we worked hard on the punt block play and it payed off, lol. Kind of a whacky game, especially for a CC. The defense had to work twice as hard thanks to the 5 picks thrown by Rempe and a fumble lost. Never seen a run go for 80+ yards when running the clock out. Letson got his knee blown out and we lost our SS for next game, plus a couple of others, will see if we can give the Talons a run for it with our backups. Congrats on a great season with the Wild, Cooter.

Same to you, Gdad! Those punt blocks hurt. My special teams kinda abandoned me halfway thru the season. And the abysmal offense could not take advantage of the turnovers. Was brutal on team morale. But, the tweak I did showed me a new ripple which I hope helped in the creation of those turnovers. So maybe that is a silver lining going into next season.
Like I have repeatedly said,ad nauseum, when you suit up against GdadB, you better wear your BigBoy pants, cinch your jock up tight, and make no mistakes if you want a prayer of even sniffing a W!
GG and best of luck to the Talons and the Dragons. Should be a great matchup!

GG Spartans - I knew we were going to be in for a battle and boy was it ever a tight game. I didn't like the look of you moving the ball at-will in the early part of the game but both defenses tightened up like a drum and there wan't much for either offense. A few key bounces luckily went in my direction (thanks likely to the home cooking) or Toronto would be in the Finals.
Congrats on a great season!

Well Grandad, looks like we get a rematch of the championship game last year. If it's all the same I'm hoping for an identical result. ;-)

You're gonna really make me work on the gameplannin for this one, but that's been the case for all the playoff games so far, its a tough group of playoff teams all around in the Elite, that's why we havnt had repeat LCs other than the Witches one time. If you pull it off, the Talons will be the 2nd team to win back 2 back LCs in the Elite FL. Good luck to you also, hopefully it wont be a 4.5 **** show with a lot of turnovers and lop-sided penalty calls, but that has a pretty good chance of happening. cheers

That was one helluva LC, Garrok/Talons. The 3rd quarter was about as brutal for offense as two teams can get, the defenses were both excellent. Probably the one thing that I was most surprised about was Rempe not throwing a pick, I kept waiting for it, lol. And I knew your TD was coming on that drive with 4 min left, which includes penalties that keep the drive going, and that I would be sweating the onside kick big-time, whew! Those are hard to watch, have seen so many in that situation. Super tough game is about all I can say about it, it sure was not a 4.5 "S" show. Congrats on the 16-0 reg season, the LC was a coin flip. Let's see if we can get a 3peat next season, not likely, but Im happy any way I can get the Dragons to the LC game. cheers

GG Grandad. Your team played lights out on defense and did enough on 3rd down to get the job done. Well done - congrats on a great season!
Wish my QB had shown up for the game to make it interesting but I knew from the first pass being a pick then the safety that the game had decided the winner. So this is what it feels like to lose an undefeated season in the Finals.... me n Tom Brady have something in common lol.
