That was a good game, ricmoney. My team caught a few breaks and made a few more plays, but it was tight for most of the game. I think my guys were eager to avenge the loss last season.

You did a number on us Geechee/ray, I missed scouting/game plan, hope that was the only problem, lol, cheers and gl rest of season, your team is lookin strong. The only good thing about the loss is that it might have helped on the waiver wire, was surprised to get DE Simpson off of there, great atts for a 68 rater. (84sp,52 accl, 89 str, 73 pass rush). Looks like another AI major undervalue when it comes to default & trade value. Now will see how that compares to actual performance.

I seen him but I have no cap space LOL. And I lost Brady strong safety for the season so I'm in the market for another DB

So, when you see a FA that can improve your team, especially when its a DB, DL, or LB, and you dont have cap room, what do you do? Simpson cost $2mill for the one season, Using Dash/Riptide as an example, based on what I would do, I would try to get Simpson off waivers and cut one of my DE's that were sub 50 speed, John Curtis for example who has 36 speed but a high default value of 84. In the first game he had 0 sacks, 0 hurries, and 2 tackles as LDE2. Last season on close to 500 plays, he had 2 sacks, 8 hurries, & 13 tackles total. Simpson only played 166 plays for Disney last season, and he was able to get 3 sacks,4 hurries, and 5 tackles. Extend that to 500 plays and he racks up 10 sacks in basically 1/2 a season of play. When you get a chance to add a player like that, you need to make salary room!, lol. Ive seen GMs pay 8 mill a year and higher for DE's with those atts & stats in early FA. I would also be wondering why I dropped Simpson if I was managing Disney, lol.

Not when I have a quarter of a roster I need to resign by Year's End.. all my stars are due for contracts soon.. I mean he really wouldn't of help me that much I got pretty good defensive ends I feel like at least my starters at least

OK, but a DE capable of 20 sacks potential, which would be one of the league leaders is def worth a shot, lets see how he plays out. So many let salary cap issues keep them from picking up good players, and there should be no issue, thats why teams like the Witches and Event get the elite FA players for 10 mill or more per season, they make room when they need it. Its also a matter of position priority, you dont want to worry about re-signing a 2 mill per yr TE or FB vs a 2 mill DE that can get you sacks. Hey, Im glad I got him, and my DEs combined are in the top of the league, lets see how he does :) He gets to start vs the team that just dropped him, lol.

Good game, Cobras! The story of two very different halves in that game. Good luck down the road.
