Last week my team had an X beside it saying I clinched the playoffs and after a loss this week I am now eliminated. How does that happen?

I am not sure how it happened, but obviously last week's "x" was an error. Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but in the hierarchy of determining seed/playoff qualifiers, it goes by overall record, and then by conference record as the first tiebreaker. I do not know the subsequent tiebreakers after that for MFN.
