The Dragons had their "summer break" in Hawaii, where the team was allowed more fun and relaxation time than normal and in training camp, and came away with a solid win using a very conservative gameplan. Now the team heads back to Calif, with the coaches reviewing the game film, and dialing in the play calls and gameplan, getting ready for the next pre season game with the Boise Burn. Outstanding performances were turned in by both QBs putting up 100+ ratings on a limited number of pass plays, both starting WRs who each scored on long catch & run passes, DE Krantz with 7 tackles, 2 hurries, dominating the weakside, and backup SS Kreitzer who allowed only 1 catch vs 7 thrown ats. The secondary overall was very impressive, with less than 30% catches allowed, the high expectations for that group based on their draft ranks were met in the first pre-season game.
