The sim just happened tonight! How did your team do?

I liked how my team performed without any real gameplanning. ... Except my RB actually running the ball. I expect big things from him still though.

My starting QB Alford was crazy good in just one half of play over 400 yards passing and 6 TDs in the half! I might have to shut him down the rest of the pre-season. No need to get hurt.

I really did no game planning. I just wanted to see as many players possible play. Our first half of football was sad. We played better in the 2nd half.

Overall pretty happy with the 1st game, but need a few more to really see what the team can do. My starting QB only threw two incompletions.

I saw a lot of good things. I don't put much weight into preseason, but I saw reasons for hope and look forward to trying to put it all together in the regular season.

Salem looks tough for a young team. The back-ups did a decent job. It's only one game and pre-season to boot. Nothing except injuries matter for now.

The Dragons had their "summer break" in Hawaii, where the team was allowed more fun and relaxation time than normal and in training camp, and came away with a solid win using a very conservative gameplan. Now the team heads back to Calif, with the coaches reviewing the game film, and dialing in the play calls and gameplan, getting ready for the next pre season game with the Boise Burn. Outstanding performances were turned in by both QBs putting up 100+ ratings on a limited number of pass plays, both starting WRs who each scored on long catch & run passes, DE Krantz with 7 tackles, 2 hurries, dominating the weakside, and backup SS Kreitzer who allowed only 1 catch vs 7 thrown ats. The secondary overall was very impressive, with less than 30% catches allowed, the high expectations for that group based on their draft ranks were met in the first pre-season game.
