Case of having too many teams (11), 3 or 4 playoff games going on, a draft, et al. Didnt even know that the trade had been accepted, I wouldnt have known it if i hadnt seen the post for the trade in the forum. I had completely forgotten about the offer and did not keep track.

Makes me think about a notification. That could help. In the nfl you get a week to get back under the cap. Idk if hat was your situation here, but we can't get waiver claims on game stages . Maybe trades could work he same way.. Maybe an option to finalize the trade could be added to the team that offered the trade.

I will let trades sit till the deadline or wait until a certain pick was made, so real days can pass and I have gotten lost to when I was handling 10 plus teams plus a couple of of allocations going on.

Yeah, I am kinda sold on just 4 teams and that is a real balancing act at times. The pre-season and regular season usually isn't too much since it is usually scout, gameplanning, depth chart moves, and check the waiver wire. But when you got multiple post seasons, multiple drafts, free agencies, etc. ,it can get away and out of hand pretty easy. You try to plan ahead, foresee certain moves, and then POOF!; you forget one little detail and it bites you on the hind end!

Ya know, you could do like old Tragic Johnson did and just blame all of your inept and misguided GM moves on everybody but yourself. And then just tip out the door whining about how all the backstabbers didn't fall in line with your poor judgement. (My apologies to all the Lakers fans in the house, but really, Tragic in the front office sure ain't no Bird!)
