For those who consider default values first, and based on my weights, here's how the 2018 draft class shapes up. Also checked against the AI weights, not much difference.
Kickers excluded, we have 6 90+ raters, the top two of which are TE's. 3 out of the 6 players are rated right at 90, a CB, DE, and WLB.
Then we have 12 80+ raters. there's one WR and 2 DBs in that group.
So 18 players down, excluding kickers, we go sub 80 default rating.
After those 18 players rated above 80, there are 12 players in the 75+ range. 2 WRs and 3 DBs. .
There are only 3 WR & 7 DBs total in the 75 and up default value. Of those 10, there are 6 with 85+ speed. One with a low of 61 speed.
Overall, for the other players in the top 30, the breakdown is : Offense- 5 OL, 3 TE, 2 QB, 2 RB. Defense- 2 DE's, 4 LBs, 1 DT.
Total, there are only 50 players rated 70 and higher.
Thats the general break-down. I would say its a very weak draft for teams outside of the top 15 or so picks, not accounting for booms/busts.
