RL has stepped up and Im not going to be able to spend anywhere near the time that I have up to now playin MFN. I will prob quit or at least take a long break as a result, I was leaning that way anyway, so its not a big ordeal. The league will need a new Admin, mainly for accepting new owners. I will open the league before I leave so that anyone can pick up a team until a new Admin takes over. I will let JDB know, been great playing with you all, this will also make the folks who dont like me very happy, lol. If you are interested in being the Admin, PM to JDB. cheers!

Wait you were serious?..... Awe..... dayum...... I don't know why people would hate you too much. I have lost to you lots but have also beat you plenty. Maybe your pretty good and know a lot of stuff. Even when you passed Way too much against the Phantoms in those two back to back Elite bowls ... ;) That's the only reason we wiped you out. Hey I'm just repeating those seasons so it will cause you to stay with one team here so you can kick my ***.

Oh yea, back to my lost point, before I reminded you how you got waxed by the Phantoms 2 years in a row and.......... What I am saying is you were one of, if not the first, person who really had encouragement like advice, tips, and breaks on salary caps for noob owners like me who took over a struggling Phantoms team.

There are so many others like Grandpa, even some that has also helped me with advice, but those are the true champoins of this whole simulations. The HOF cast of MFN are many, but Grandpa is included. All of us who played the game on the field for many years recognize this category, which includes Grandpa. They are the coaches. They don't hord that information to keep winning, they spread it around to make the game so much more interesting.

Thx Phal, I could have written 2 or 3 books worth when I look at all the posts and pms, roster reviews and tips/advice that accumulated over the past 5 years.

MFN has been a big part of my day over that time, and now something else needs to take my priority, a project involving aquaponics and training combat vets to run the system, basically an indoor farm. My partner and I have been developing the new technology involved and now we get our chance to prove whether or not it will work up to our expectation or better. So, a lot is at stake and I am cutting distractions as much as possible.

Ive also lost a lot of interest and motivation in the game, which happens to everyone at some point. We have lost a lot of very good players over the last couple of years. Am hoping the JDB will be successful in improving the game and addressing the issues that have been raised and discussed in the forums.

wrt the league admin. I may be able to help but not yet. Just dont have time even to gameplan. If someone else to do interim i coyld maybe step up in a cpl months

Grandpa still doing trades. That mean he is staying? Im good with that. If not then we should still keep the rules about not the WR at the TE or whatever you guys probably honestly know more about that than me.

My guess is that he's still set as the admin so his name is attached to the auto-generated messages for trades and new owners. I don't think he's still playing or actively being the admin.
