1st round 1st pick is hard coded into MFN at 4:22 am pacific time (daylight savings).

yes. draft could start later if the time between picks in first round is reduced. i think its at thirty or twenty minutes. i think ten minutes should be enough. but maybe people would like more time to orchestrate trades

I don't know if it still works or if it has to be initiated by JDB. But in NCAA the commish changed the Draft schedule to 3 days and shorter breaks.
