It's not entirely capricious. You played the latest one against GrandadB, master of the mismatch. A player who knows he is beat on a play is much more likely to commit a penalty. I've had him do it to me a few times ...
In the previous one, you had the ball twelve minutes longer, and got three times the yards your opponent did. I'd bet a lot of your calls there were false start and holding, as your offense got fatigued.
